David Gandy, best known as the long-time face of Dolce & Gabbana’s Light Blue fragrance, has finally found his perfect family home. After years of searching, Gandy and his partner, barrister Stephanie Mendoros, have settled into a beautifully restored house in Richmond, southwest London. They live there with their daughters, Matilda, five, and Tabitha, two. Spread across 6,000 square feet, the house features 19 rooms, including six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, making it a truly grand family residence. A Home with History
Gandy’s love for home renovations comes from his upbringing. His parents often took on property projects, teaching him the value of thoughtful design. Every corner of his home reflects his meticulous attention to detail.
A Fascinating Discovery
During renovations, Gandy and Mendoros found a time capsule left by past residents, including actor Nigel Planer and his brothers. This discovery connected them with the granddaughter of the original owner, an American film director. A surprising moment came when Gandy spotted a 1935 photo of the terrace. It showed wingback wicker chairs, identical to the ones he had just bought and placed in the same spot.
