Happy Friday! Today, I wanted to highlight a favorite home resource, which happens to be local to me (in Salt Lake City)… McGee & Co. Over the years, they’ve certainly grown in popularity (for good reason)– but continue to be one of my trusted, go-to shopping sources. Whether you’re investing in quality styling staples, functional items for the kitchen, or foundation pieces a specific room- these are my top picks that will withstand the test of time. Click through for 25 classic home finds from McGee & Co, that I’ve currently got my eye on (or already have and love).
One of my favorite aspects of NOT taking on client projects is the opportunity to share really good designer resources and selections with you. It gives me the chance to source for all of us, instead of a specific project where I’m not really at liberty to share. From things every bedroom should have to designer approved ceiling fans and antique gilded mirrors, I hope you find these type of posts both fun and helpful. I also hope by recognizing my personal aesthetic and the things I gravitate toward, you’ll feel more in tune with your own. Let’s dive in… here are my 20 favorites from McGee & Co (with styling ideas)!
I love a classic round serving board because it breaks up the many hard edges and 90 degree angles that accompany a kitchen. It’s a great way to add softness, warmth, and functionality to any vignette.
I know I just talked about this earlier in the week (how to choose the best picture light for your artwork), but this remains one of my favorite fixtures in our home. It’s installed above the daybed in my home office. The antique brass picture light adds the perfect glow to this niche during the evening hours.
I’ve gotta say, the signature McGee & Co candles are really good! I’ve tried them all and there hasn’t been one I didn’t enjoy. They’re high quality, burn clean, and smell sophisticated. I also appreciate the simple and heavy glass jar that makes them a breeze to style.
If you’re looking for a tall, sturdy laundry hamper- this one comes with a removable liner. I like that it’s cooler toned and has a nice linear texture.
I’m not sure how they managed to make such beautiful and affordable oil bottles, but this sculptural duo would be perfect styled near the cooktop for olive oil and vinegar. I love the height variation that adds dimension to the set, and the color would easily blend with any aesthetic.
I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve needed a tiny lumbar. They’re so much more versatile and don’t have to be moved when someone is taking a seat. This timeless box shape constructed of mohair material is absolutely classic. This is one of those pillows I’d keep forever.
Every kitchen needs a good utensil crock. This stoneware vessel is substantial and would be ideal for countertop or shelf styling. I could even see this being used as a vase on the kitchen island. These handmade pieces are easy and elegant.
Made of 100% soft and lofty cotton, this oversized blanket is perfect for styling at the foot of the bed. If you missed it, check out my post on 20 things every bedroom should have (according to a designer).
I keep these soap sets by the sink in our kitchen, as well as at the basement bar. I enjoyed them so much- I ended up grabbing another duo for the basement bathroom and guest bathroom! They come with a soap, lotion, and the ceramic tray. They’re beautiful, high quality, and are easy to style. These also make a great gift! Check out this video if you’d like a closer look…
I have one of these durable planter baskets and love how well it functions. Maybe you remember it from my post, the easiest indoor plants that thrive in low light? My dracaena is still thriving, by the way! These are great for larger plants or indoor trees…
You can never have enough beautiful boards in the kitchen. I use these for styling, serving, charcuterie, bread, whatever the occasion calls for. I’ll lean them on floating shelves, against the kitchen backsplash, or I’ll even hang them in the enter of a cabinet panel. I like that these are darker, have an interesting pattern, and a hole that could be used for hanging.
I’ve had my eye on this bowl for quite some time… I love a good pedestal bowl- especially if it’s made of solid marble. This would be ideal for a catchall on an entry table or nightstand- or even on the kitchen counter for fruit. It has such a timeless shape.
I always try to invest in planters that will withstand the test of time, and you can’t go wrong with terracotta or cement. This one is stunning, with a vintage aesthetic! Looking for more options? Check out this post that includes more classic planters for every aesthetic and budget.
I’m including this in “essentials I keep near the range”… a salt cellar is always a must-have in my kitchen. This beautiful glazed stoneware mini crock is perfect for flaked salt or your favorite spice.
This double handle table lamp lives in my home office and I couldn’t be happier with it. It includes a dimming knob (which I use often), a lovely tapered shade, and is finished with a beautiful mocha glaze.
These salt and pepper shakers have been on my McGee & Co wishlist for ages. If I weren’t hoarding plenty already, I would have scooped them up. I adore the curvy marble shape and brass accents. These feel very timeless to me.
Selfishly, I added this rug to the mix with my own bedroom in mind, but they do have many beautiful hand knotted, non shedding, wool rugs. Go have a look and browse some options that are in your own color palette… obviously I’m leaning toward green. We’ll see if it sticks for the final design plan!
Pedestals are one of my secret styling tricks. They’re amazing for containing groupings (think salt, pepper, oil bottles, etc), can be used like a tray, or even for serving. I also love to rest a centerpiece atop a pedestal in the center of a dining table for added height. All of that to say, they’re versatile and I can always find a place for one… even outside of the kitchen.
I browsed their entire art section and kept coming back to this beautiful soft black & white landscape. I just love the way it’s matted and framed. I might have to find a place for this in my house. Maybe the gym?
Last, I really loved these coffee mugs. Of course, if you read my kitchen shelving update, you already know I have the gray Le Creuset coffee cups that work beautifully… but these have a lovely organic handmade quality.

I actually have a separate page (I don’t think I’ve shared with you), where all of my current McGee & Co picks exist. Bookmark this link so you can see my reviews or best finds in real time! I just started curating it, but I’ll be adding more each week…
FAQ
They have very nice, designer quality furniture. I’ve ordered some larger items from them in the past. I just forwarded a link to these counter stools to one of my friends! They’re stunning with an antique look. Those would be at the top of my list.
I love supporting other local businesses, small businesses, women-owned businesses, and just cool places. Some of my friends work for McGee & Co and they’re all wonderful, talented individuals! Every interior designer or shop has something unique or different to offer, and I feel it would be a shame to keep those discoveries to myself. Speaking of my shop… we’re moving out of our Tuesday Made office (relocating workspaces), but I’ve got a fun little rebrand up my sleeve for February, once we get settled! I’m excited to share my plans with you.
I actually just placed one this week… I grabbed these two planters from their spring collection. I thought they’d be beautiful alongside our French blue sofa in the living room! I’m trying to get excited for spring.
